I am an American based in Beijing China. My full time job has me analyzing Chinese government policy and meeting with government officials. Simply put, I lobby on behalf of U.S. multinational companies for a level commercial playing field in China. I also work with U.S. government officials to promote a constructive bilateral relationship.

As you may have noticed, this blog is not about policy, the Chinese government, or U.S.-China relations. Instead, I write about raising my savings rate through side hustles to ensure maximum financial flexibility. My goal is to be financially independent. I hope some of the shared anecdotes may help others take control of their savings as well.
